The park is in the town so shopping is not far. The actual park archeological site requires an exit from the campground and access from another entrance since the bridge over the river is closed.

Eutaw is several miles away and not even a Dollar General on the route there. Easy drive from I59 thru a pretty old Southern town with nice old homesites.
