Tip for Other Campers:
We visited Cumberland Mountain State Park which is closeby. We also toured the Homestead House Museum on Pigeon Ridge Road along with the Cumberland Homestead Water Tower. There is a wealth of information regarding the history of this area, very interesting. The movie clip at the Water Tower information center was beneficial. They also have a gift shop.

Beautiful setting, the mountains are right there. We camped at Raccoon Mountain Caverns & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very clean, landscaped nicely. A lot of well kept longterm units. Pretty campground. We stopped for one night during a heat wave. Staff was helpful. We camped at Dothan RV Park in a Motorhome.
