Question: Site sizes. How big are the sites can any of the hold a 30 ft camper
Answer:
MANY sites can hold your 30ft rig; we have a 36ft rig (with bikes hanging off back). The challenge is some roads are narrow and some have trees right at the turn in road. We touched a tree branch getting into position at dump station. By far the tents are most popular, but there are many rigs. I know sites 5,6,8,10 are HUGE! You can fit your rig 2-deep. Try and get these or site 15. If you get 15 (as we did) you will need at least 75ft garden hose to reach water (to top off tank) near site 11. We also thought sites 72,73,74 are right on the water and would fit our rig; don't recall any major worry about trees/stumps....
Question: On the Lakeside Loop, which FHU rv campsites should one avoid?
Answer:
Size of your rig truly matters. Some sites are very steep, others quite shallow. You might want to see the below video, just delete the * symbols from the link.Ht**tp***s://youtu**.be/ZIK1sw0OgFU...
Question: I have an ebike and my wife has a ebike tricycle, will the tricycle fit on the bike trails?
Answer:
The "trail" going from Watchman campground all the way to "The narrows" varies from a 6ft wide cement path to asphalt road. Yes a tricycle would easily fit....
