I called today intending to make a reservation for 3 nights in January. After being questioned as to whether I was a sex offender, a felon or if I had ever been thrown out of an RV park, I was told...

“Great new campground”

Great new campground in a beautiful area. I received the fall special price of $45.00. Wide driveways, long pull thru gravel sites with 50 amps FHU. No showers or rest room. You must be self...

Tip for Other Campers:
The drive out to Black Canyon Lake was beautiful. The aspens are turning a bright yellow and I saw many wild horses along the way. The roads along Mogollon Rim are gravel but very well maintained and can be easily driven in a passenger car. There are also lots of 4 wheel drive roads to explore.
Nightly Rate: $60 USD

Tip for Other Campers:
A drive up to Flaming Gorge is as must. I suggest going up the west side of the Gorge and stopping at Red Canyon Visitors Center. Beautiful views. Red Canyon Lodge was a great place for lunch. I was disappointed in Dutch John on the east side of the dam. Nothing there unless you fish.
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
There are only 12 sites and each has plenty of room and grass. It overlooks a creek area where you can walk. Lots of birds and even deer. Very quiet area. Did not find plant nearby or trains a...
